HOW IT WORKS · OVERVIEW
  1. Final version
  2. Successive signatures
  3. Check all signatures

Agree the final version

Finish editing before the first signature. Establish signers, order and accepted format. Assign someone to track the current file.

Add to the current file

Use the application’s add-signature operation for that format. The second person signs the file received from the first, rather than another unsigned original. Check multiple-signature settings in proCertum SmartSign.

Check after each step

Confirm that previous signatures remain recognised and inspect their validation results. Investigate document restrictions or format errors before continuing.

Deliver the complete result

Send the final document and any required signature files. Separate copies with one signature each do not automatically become one document signed by everybody. Keep the final version and submission receipt.

Can several people sign one document?

Yes, with software and a format that support additional signatures. Pass on the current file with existing signatures and check the result after each operation.
