Identify the action
Is this a document created in S24, an application signature or an already prepared attachment? These do not always follow the same workflow. Establish which people are required for the matter.
Prepare certificate and computer
Check validity, application access and requirements currently shown by the portal. Browser signing may need an additional component. Avoid relying on an old browser guide merely because it mentions S24.
Check signer and document version
Compare the intended signer with the chosen certificate. Review content and existing signatures. Keep the logged-in user, signer and person authorised to represent the entity distinct.
Reach submission confirmation
After signing, inspect document status and remaining application steps. A signature alone is not proof of submission. Record the failing stage and message if an error occurs; your initial enquiry does not need the complete application.
